Brian Murphy graduated from Florida State University with degrees in Accounting and Finance. After graduation Brian began his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP in their Management Consulting Services practice. While at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP Brian had many responsibilities in the consulting group including but not limited to training new hires on emerging technologies and client best practices at the Learning and Professional Development Center in Tampa, FL.
From PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP Brian worked as an Assistant Corporate Controller for an International Travel company where he was responsible for all international consolidations and financial reporting across six different currencies.
Although Brian enjoyed his position at Assistant Corporate Controller he missed the client interaction and accepted a job with a boutique Accounting and Finance consulting and recruiting firm based in Jacksonville, FL where he quickly advance from a Client Service Director to a Managing Director responsible for an entire market.
Towards the end of 2007 Brian was appointed President of ReliaQuest a national recruiting and consulting firm focused on an organization’s critical human capital needs. Brian set out create a firm centered around its clients providing a wide range of services based on a single principle that if you understand your clients needs, culture, and beliefs you can hire any position across the organization.
Brian currently lives in Tampa, FL with his wife Renee and daughter Devin. |
